| The Dartmouth Stroke Support Club is a self-help group of citizens from the Greater Dartmouth area, mainly stroke survivors, caregivers and volunteers. The club and its members offer encouragement, moral support and hope for both stroke persons and the families and friends of stroke survivors.
We meet weekly September through June. Meetings are held at the Findlay Center (26 Elliott St., Dartmouth) on Wednesdays, from 1:00 to 3:00pm (except on Potluck days, when we usually start at 12:30pm).
The Findlay Community Centre is wheelchair accessible, close to bus routes and has free parking.
Membership is $20, annually, but we think , well worth it.
We encourage you to visit the Dartmouth Stroke Support Club, meet our members, share our activities, and enjoy the exercises led by our inspiring and enthusiastic leader,Janet Millar to the live music of the band of volunteer musicians, led by retired veteran Edgil Dauphinee ..
Make trial visits: then if you like us, we hope you too will become a club member.

My apologies for this site having gone so long without updating. My health having been a factor in that hiatus, I am pleased to say that more capable persons , under the direction of Tony Dubois, will be doing this in the future.
The information at left is still correct, and the new officers are headed by president Tony.
In future you should be able to get the full details of any planned events here.We encourage you to make trial visits, and that after one or more of these that you will join us.
